Casa Lontra is a delightful 4-bedroom villa with private pool and lovely views to the sea, situated in the sought after area of Luz Parque.
The spacious lounge is comfortably furnished and has large sliding doors which open out onto the ample terrace and pool area. A large flatscreen TV provides UK + PT channels; wi-fi is also available.
A separate dining area - with seating for eight – is set off the lounge.
The modern kitchen has a spacious breakfast bar and is well equipped with a small undercounter fridge, oven + hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee-machine, hand blender, among other useful appliances.
Opposite the kitchen is the laundry room, where you will find the washing machine and a large fridge/freezer.
The four bright & breezy bedrooms are located at the North end of the villa.
The first bedroom has a double bed and full en-suite bathroom.
The remaining three bedrooms all have twin beds. One of them has an en-suite shower room; the other two share a full family bathroom.
Three of these bedrooms have sliding doors which open out onto the beautiful garden.
There is also a cloakroom in this corridor.
The ample terrace has a large dining table + chairs, which can be covered by an electric awning (remotely operated) if required. The terrace is fully fenced with gates to prevent access to the pool by little ones.
The large kidney-shaped pool (which can be heated by prior arrangement) has plenty of sun loungers and sunshades around it. It is also completely gated, making for a safe environment if there are small children about.
All the outside areas have good lighting, allowing for the evenings to be as enjoyable as the daytime.
A special effort has been made to equip this house for small children. The owner, a mother of twins, knows full well how difficult it is to keep an eye on little ones when near a pool, so she has ensured that all security aspects are covered with stairgates, blind cord safety cleats, and a gated pool area. In addition to security, there are many baby items available for use at the property to save you from having to bring lots with you. Baby books, toys, garden toys, floor mats, potties, highchairs, bottle warmers, steriliser...you name it, it's there!
Casa Lontra is set in a peaceful, residential location but is within walking distance of the village of Praia da Luz – roughly 1 km, but also close to Burgau – so it offers the best of both worlds, making for a truly amazing family holiday!
The entire villa and all its facilities are completely private and for the exclusive use of its guests.

We know the area and it is just close enough to town so as not to be too far away. Accommodation was excellent, excellent facilities. Pool was a good size. Lots of outdoor space and the villa itself is very spacious.

Overall it was a very positive experience for a multi generational family. The rooms were all of a generous size, there was ample cutlery, crockery, and kitchen equipment. The pool was brilliant for the kids and adults alike with good seating arousee more

The pool was brilliant for the kids and adults alike with good seating around the pool and on the terrace. Having a retractable awning over the terrace provided plenty of shade. Casa Lontra is a lovely family home as well as being a rental property and, as such, has everything any family would require for a comfortable, relaxing holiday, with the safety of young children very much in mind. The management company used by the owners were excellent with good communication throughout and I would have no hesitation booking either this villa or using the management company in the future.

Nothing needs done but it is a steep climb from the shops so renting a car might be useful for families. Supermarket delivery made life easy enough without a car. Bus stop is very handy.

Quinta da Luz 16 is a lovely, Mediterranean-style 4-bedroom villa with private pool and amazing seaviews. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the Quinta da Luz development, which is literally halfway between the villages of Praia da Luz and Burgau. Through the entrance hall and to your left – at the South end of the villa – you come to the spacious lounge which is comfortably furnished and has a wood-burning stove and air-conditioning. A large flatscreen TV provides UK + PT channels; wi-fi is also available. To the far end and up a couple of steps you come to the dining room, comprising of a large round table and seating for 8. Both the lounge and dining area have patio doors opening out onto the pool terrace. The kitchen leads off the dining area and is well equipped with fridge-freezer, oven + hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, among other appliances. There are 4 theme bedrooms in total: one super king, one king and two twin bedrooms, all of which have their own en-suite. Two of the bedrooms are located at the South of the villa and the other two on the North side of the villa. Each bedroom has been fitted with an air-conditioning unit for those warm, summer evenings. A wooden cot and travel cot are available for guest use, along with a high chair. The pool area has plenty of sun loungers and the pool itself can be heated by prior arrangement. There are a couple of separate seating/eating spots and also a BBQ area with built-in charcoal BBQ, exterior sink and worktop. All the outside areas have good lighting, allowing for the evenings to be as enjoyable as the daytime. This villa will make for the perfect family holiday! Casa do Poço is a beautifully designed 4-bedroom villa featuring a private pool, with the option for pool heating available for an extra fee. Nestled in the esteemed Monte Lemos development, just west of Praia da Luz village, this villa offers breathtaking views of the ocean. Upon entering the home, you'll find a small landing. To your left is the coziest of the four bedrooms, furnished with two single beds. Adjacent to this room is a family shower room. On the right side of the landing, a short staircase leads you to a spacious, bright living and dining area. A large flat-screen TV provides access to UK and PT channels, and fibre optic Wi-Fi is also available. French doors open onto a balcony that overlooks the pool and the sea. The balcony features two distinct seating areas: a large round table with a lazy Susan and eight chairs for outdoor dining, and a cozy sofa and armchair set at the far end, perfect for sipping evening drinks while watching the stunning sunset.
